Our certified medication technicians work hand-in-hand with residents’ doctors, our delegating nurse, and the pharmacy to make sure the right medications are given at the right times at the right dosages to maximize effectiveness and lower side effects. Under the highest level of Maryland Assisted Living licensing and oversight of a Delegating Registered Nurse, medication technicians administer physician-ordered prescriptions, controlled and counted medications, nebulizer treatments, eye drops, routine insulin administration, and other approved medications and treatments. To maintain our high standards, we undergo on-going training & competency observations, plus two quality assurance reviews by an outside pharmacy annually.
